12 Best Facebook Groups for Bloggers to Increase Traffic by Guest Blogger Sharing Life’s Moments
My kids were on Spring Break last week and I did not blog… at all. I did not write blog posts, send out newsletters or schedule social media. I enjoyed every minute being present with my family and catching up on reading at the beach. BUT my blog pageviews and social media accounts tanked because of it. In retrospect, I should have continued to promote my older blog posts in my favorite Facebook groups for bloggers to keep momentum going and at least get some traffic visiting my blog.
When a blog is out of sight, it’s out of mind. Professional bloggers or bloggers wanting to make an income cannot afford to be out of mind of their current and potential readers. That’s why it is perfect timing that my blogging friend Crystal from Sharing Life’s Moments gave me this guest post about the 12 best Facebook groups for bloggers to increase traffic. As a virtual assistant to some top bloggers and a blogger that made a full-time income on her former blog, Crystal has great expertise and insight to share with us. When she’s giving out blogging advice, I listen and you should too.

I’m excited about these new groups to join that Crystal recommends. The new groups will help me get new eyes on old posts that I’ve rewritten and redone images for as I work through Elite Blog Academy*. And let me tell you, these Facebook groups work. I put a pin to my Rory Gilmore Reading Challenge post in one of these groups awhile ago and it went viral from one blogger repinning it. Since then the post has been repinned 26,000 times and continues to bring me a boatload of traffic. It just takes a few amazing instances like that for your post to go viral, so what are you waiting for?
Please welcome Crystal to Mom’s Small Victories and see what she has to say about the best Facebook groups for bloggers and how they can increase traffic and grow your blog!
12 Best Facebook Groups for Bloggers to Increase Traffic
by Crystal Green from Sharing Life’s Moments
Blogging professionally cannot be done alone. It takes the help of other bloggers and virtual assistants in order to grow a blog to the next level. I am a member of some outstanding blogging Facebook groups. These groups and the things they offer have helped me grow my last blog rather rapidly. I have helped many top bloggers to utilize these groups through the five and a half years I’ve been in the blogging world. I hope that you’ll find them useful too.
There are some people who are dead set against using Facebook groups and threads to grow their blogs. I’m not going to say that they are wrong for feeling that way. Particularly, if you are a blogger with super focused or small niche(s), you may feel that these general blogging support groups may not be the best use of your time. However, keep reading, as I’ll share how and why you can still benefit from Facebook groups with the help of a virtual assistant (VA).
How Facebook Groups for Bloggers Increase Traffic & Grow Your Blog
All of these Facebook groups for bloggers offer daily or weekly threads of some kind. A thread, in case you don’t know what I’m talking about, is a post that provides a set of rules to follow (for example, pin every post in this thread or follow everyone on Instagram) and you can add your links to it to gain more interaction/traffic for that link based on the rules of the given thread. In most of these groups there is a solid amount of activity.
I do have to say that there is a small bit of overlap between the threads and groups, members may add the same post to several group threads. But it’s not enough to keep me from joining most of the threads for each of these groups. When I do these threads consistently I can gain between 300-500 pageviews a day. If something takes off on one of the social media outlets it has led to thousands of pageviews on that given post.
The time and energy placed in these groups is worth it, especially when you’re first starting out on a blog and/or are having a slump in traffic. Some of the bigger bloggers that I know that gain 150,000 pageviews a month or more are active in these threads too. However, they hire virtual assistants, like myself, to do the threads for them. If they are PAYING me my VA fee for this service, then I’d say it’s safe to assume it’s beneficial to them as well.

My 3 Main Groups to Find Virtual Assistants
As much as I’d love to have you hire me for all of your virtual assistant needs, I can’t do it all for everyone. Nor am I highly qualified to do ALL blogging tasks. Alas, I need to provide you with some additional places to find other virtual assistants.
VA for Hire & Pinterest Friendly Content – This group is primarily for finding prewritten content that you can add to your blog for a price. Most of them are pretty reasonable! I have to say they provide quality content.
Virtual Assistance for Bloggers – This group used to be more active because virtual assistants could tell you what we could do and you could find one. Now though, you have to put a post requesting for virtual assistants that can do what you’re looking for. Then we apply for the positions with you. (I highly recommend you create a Google questionnaire to add in your post and make your selection that way.)
Rocking Virtual Assistants & Bloggers – Great place to find other virtual assistants and gain valuable tips and tricks for blogging!
I hope these groups come in handy for you. When we work together it helps us all to grow our blogs quickly.
