January 2015 Biannual Blogathon Bash Goals

blogathonwinter180

The Biannual Blogathon Bash started today and is another blogging marathon weekend to whittle down my blogging to-do list. It’s a busy weekend with company coming and a friend’s murder mystery party to attend so here are my rather lofty goals. It seems I will be staying up late to make some progress here.

Goals:

1. Finish Days 5-9 of the Pinning Perfect class I won during the last Blogathon Games.  The class is awesome but I have catching up to do.
2. Finish getting category posts into navigation bar.
3. Back up my blog.
4. Check out mini challenges.
5. Participate in one Twitter chat.
6. Update my link party schedule in my blog planner. If you have a linkup party I need to know about, let me know!
7. Update Small Victories Sunday Linkup Facebook group so I can start having co-hosts! The linkup is growing fast and I love it!

Accomplishments:

Well I’m happy to have completed the Pinning Perfect class. It was awesome and gave me a ton to do to improve my Pinterest presence. It is my top performing social media and their simple tips will help me grow even more. I was totally late to the Twitter party but made it for a little bit.

I didn’t make as big of a dent in my list as I hoped but I had a great excuse spending quality time with my family.

What are your Blogathon goals? Hope to connect with some new to me bloggers this weekend!

  1. I hope you are having a fabulous blogathon! I am getting lots done but never as much as I’d like. I would love to hear more about your Pinterest class when you have time! Content Brew looks great but I need to carve out time in my schedule to complete it!

  2. Interesting weekend link up that you have. I too have a few goals to get done this weekend but my list is not as long as yours. Bascially tidying up some pages on my site.

  3. What a fun linky you have! I’m adding it to my list here: http://sunshineandsippycups.com/weekly-blog-party-linky-list/. It’s definitely a perfect fit for my posts, and such a fun idea! And… I was interested to read that you have RA. I’m almost sure that’s what I have… It’s been getting worse for years now. But, with no health insurance, I’ve just dealt with it the best I could. It can get pretty rough – so I feel for ya! {Especially when its time to type a blost post and my hands totally do NOT want to work.} If you ever need an additional cohost for your link up, I’d be interested!

Glad you joined the Blogathon fun – can’t wait to see how much we can all get done this weekend 🙂

    1. So very sorry to hear you think you have RA and with no health insurance! I have had RA for 13 years and mine is moderate to severe so yeah, my hands totally don’t want to work most days and I’ve learned to adapt. I hope you are able to keep the inflammation under control. If you ever want to talk about it, let me know and I’d be glad to help any way I can.

I would love to have you co host Small Victories Sunday with me! I’m looking both for permanent co-hosts and co-hosts that do a week at a time when it suits their schedule. Let me know what you’d be interested in. Thanks for co-hosting such a great event. I LOVE the Blogathons!

  4. You definitely have a busy weekend ahead of you! Good luck with your blogging goals for the weekend and I am off to look at the links you just shared. 🙂
