Woohoo, we survived the first week of school and the kids did great. I think I am having a harder time adjusting to the extra early wake up call since I want to be up before my teen leaves for school at the crack of dawn. Still, I’m glad it’s a long weekend and an extra day off from the schedule and activities and an extra day to check out the great posts our bloggers share with us at Small Victories Sunday Linkup!

My Small Victories
Every week, I like to reflect on my small victories, finding gratitude and joy in everyday life is important to me in my battle with chronic illness. Life is too short to be overwhelmed or feel victimized by what I can’t do. I’d rather focus on what I CAN do!
On the home front, I’m still recovering and getting the house back in order from painting our 2-story family room last week. I’ve been catching up on cleaning and obsessing over getting all the to do’s from my head into my Day Designer planner* and new journals I scored at Target. Aren’t they pretty? Anyone else obsessive over their pens* like me? I adore my boys, they are my heart and soul, but I draw the line at letting them use my pens 🙂
It’s been one of those days when every time I turn around, there is something else I find that needs doing. Writing them all down so I don’t forget anything and color code GTD style by context. Thought I’d share my color coding for #planwithmechallenge too, whichever day that was 🙂 Hoping for a productive day! To say I love Greenroom recycled journals may be accurate. I could not physically pass up these chunky journals at Target and added #3-6 to my collection today. I see my blog & business journal will be getting an upgrade later! This is why I have been avoiding Target lately, I have to stop by the notebook, planners and pen aisle and always end up buying something. #journaladdict #notebookaddict #momssmallvictories #journal #bulletjournaljunkies #bujo #bulletjournal #minimalistbujo #blogbujo #blogging #targethaul #planneraddict
What are your small victories? Don’t be shy! Share your small victories, supporting and empowering each other is what I’m all about! Negativity and judgment is not welcome here!
