Each week my co-hosts and I will feature our favorite bloggers from the previous week’s linkup. Visit each of my co-hosts to see who they’ve featured too!

Nikki from The View In Here shared Are You Getting the Most Out of Blog Linkups? She shares 10 great tips on how blog linkups can help you grow your blog if you do it right!

Some of my favorite posts were:

My co-host Tanya from My Fruitful Home shared 15 Things I’m Grateful for This Week. I love posts that encourage us to be thankful. Tanya has some great things to be grateful for, both big and small. What are you thankful for this week?

Tournadough Alli shared her recipe for Totchos. I love nachos but am trying to eliminate corn from my diet to see if it helps my Rheumatoid Arthritis. I love potatoes even more than tortilla chips so this recipe is just brilliant for getting my fill of nachos. How do you like your nachos?

Memories by the Mile shared her recipe for Avocado Feta Salad. I could eat avocados every day, this salad looks so refreshing and delicious!

I know I’m trying to cut out sweets but on my cheat day I totally want these Bananas Foster Pancakes from Jenn’s Random Scraps.

My Weekly Recap

My IRL book club is reading Me Before You by Jojo Moyes, it is one of my favorite books and I’m glad the club wanted to read it. I thought it was an excellent choice for a book club to read because it will make for interesting discussion.

The Tide Watchers cover

I’ve started Tide Watchers by Lisa Chaplin for a TLC Book Tour. Another chunkster for my Big Book Summer Challenge and a book set in the Napoleonic era in France and England for our Travel the World in Books Reading Challenge

It’s a busy reading month and I’m loving it!

* While the boys were away, Superhubby and I headed to Asheville, NC for a fantastic celebration for our anniversary. I got a FitBit and it told me we’d hiked nearly 6 miles, 14,000 steps, walked up 56 flights of stairs and saw 3 breathtaking waterfalls in Dupont State Forest. Dupont State Forest is where the Hunger Games and Last of the Mohicans were both filmed. I love living in NC, we’re a couple hours from amazing mountains and gorgeous beaches, how can you beat that. Find me on Instagram where I’m sharing the pictures.

  1. Thanks so much for featuring the blog this week, you’ve made my week. I love coming here and reading all the great uplifting posts, so to be featured is a real compliment.

Tanya, I love how much you read, I always find something here to add to my list.

Happy Anniversary! The trip sounds incredible, I love the Carolinas too, the best of all-in one place. Our Anniversary was this last week too, and it makes me realize how lucky I am! xx

  2. Happy Anniversary! Sounds like you guys had a fantastic trip. I just recently purchased a Fitbit as well! Isn’t it awesome. I must admit that I saw a decline this week which totally looked bad on my chart. I’ll be working on getting it on the incline this upcoming week. Have a blessed week!

    • Aw, I know what you mean. I forgot to wear it two mornings in a row when I forgot to put the Fit Bit on as soon as I got up. I did a ton of cleaning and Superhubby said it didn’t count, I had no steps to show for it. Like it never happened, grumble ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks for linking up with us!
