S. Krishna’s Books – her descriptions of the books she enjoys makes me want to drop everything and go find it! She summarizes the plot and her thoughts with a simple eloquence. She has a South Asian Review Database and I’ve enjoyed reading stories set in my family’s homeland in India or by Indian authors.
For Mouth-Watering Food Blogs:
Mommy Hates Cooking – her pictures are great, makes me want to jump through the screen and grab some good eats! She readily admits that she hates cooking and yet she makes these great meals. If she can do it, maybe I can too (and I love to cook)!
Skinnytaste for healthified versions and awesome slow cooker meats. I have yet to make a recipe from Gina’s site that my family doesn’t love!
For Travel Blogs:
Hines-Sight Blog – if you like luxury hotels or want to learn more about great places to visit in NC, Leigh is your gal! She blogs about her travels to gorgeous resorts on the East Coast and that’s driving distance for me, baby! It strikes complete and utter panic in me at the thought of taking our 3 active boys through an airport and sitting in a confined space for hours on end with complete strangers. I think we are better off driving, Leigh has given me plenty of ideas of places to go!
