Book Blogger Hop – May 5th-11th

Crazy for Books is hosting a Book Blogger Blog Hop for the next week so thought I would hop along for the ride.

Jen’s question is “what are the next 5 books in your TBR (to-be-read) pile? And don’t worry, you can change your mind and read something different, we won’t check!”

Her list included one of my favorite books, The Good Father by Diane Chamberlain and I posted my review of it here.

But here’s my list of the next 5 books on my to read list:

Book #1:

Silver Girl by Elin Hildebrand

Book #2: OK…I hope a cookbook counts, I look forward to trying new recipes to help relieve some of my RA pain and stiffness.

Arthritis Cure Cookbook by Beverly D. Adderly

Book #3: On a recommendation from Mother-Daughter Reading Team

Chai Tea Sunday by Heather A. Clark

Book #4: On a recommendation from Into the Hall of Books

More Like Her by Liza Palmer

Book #5: On a recommendation from S. Krishna’s books

The Night Counter by Alia Yunis

  1. I have Silver Girl in my huge TBR pile. Someday I will get to that one! I hope you like it. I can’t wait to read The Good Father. I love Diane Chamberlain so I don’t expect to be disappointed. She writes some real page-turners! 🙂

Thanks for linking up with the Hop this week!

    1. Hi Jen, thanks for hosting the hop, I’ll be sure to join another one. I love seeing what others are reading, so many ideas for great books to read and books I may not have discovered otherwise. Well I am glad you are not holding us to our lists to read. I finished House Rules last night and Is Everyone Hanging Out with Me? by Mindy Kaling was ready for me at the library today, so that is my next read. She’s hilarious and I’m enjoying it although only 19 pages in.

You won’t be disappointed with Diane, her books are page turners for sure. I’ve got to catch up on some of her older ones. Happy reading!

    1. Hi Valery, thanks for stopping by! Your blog is adorable, I love the happy little owl. I’m impressed you have time to do this while in college!

  2. Thanks Dawn for hopping by! I cant wait to pick these up…first I gotta finish House Rules by Jodi Picoult, the first book I’m reading by her. It’s very detailed and I don’t think I’ve ever learned so much about Asperger’s syndrome or crime scene investigation….what an interesting combination for a main character.

  3. Ohh Chai Tea Sunday sounds like it would be a good book…I love the cover! I’m also loving the blog hop idea, I will join in!

    1. Hi Nicole, as for the cover as my oldest son would say, “I know, right?” I love the cover too and with books, I am much more attracted to those with pretty covers. I hope you do join the book blogger hop, I’d love to see what you are reading! Good luck with your writing goal. I have a great respect for authors. It’s hard enough for me to write on the blog, let alone an entire storyline to captivate an audience. Thanks for stopping by and commenting, good night!

  4. I hope the recipe works, my mom has arthritis and she has found that some foods make it worse and some make it better.

    Visiting via SITS Sharefest 🙂

    1. Thanks BarefootMedStudent, I think you are right. Some foods definitely worsen the arthritis symptoms, and although I think the title suggesting a “cure” is misleading, I love trying new, healthy recipes. I’m sorry your mom suffers from arthritis, it’s a tough disease to cope with and much more common than I thought before being diagnosed with RA. Thanks for stopping by and I will return the favor. ~ Tanya

  5. Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. I can see I’m going to have to come back and check out some of your recipes – they look tasty!

    1. Thanks Jon, I hope you do try some recipes. I’m always scouring the Internet for recipes to try and like to post reviews and my 2 cents on my favorites. Thanks for stopping by and posting a comment. ~Tanya

  6. Dear Tanya

Thank you so much for visiting me at Create With Joy! I LOVE your new WordPress site – I migrated from WP last year and am STILL working on mine so I think yours looks AMAZING! 🙂

I had a chance to browse a few articles and I am SO looking forward to connecting with you! I have fibromyalgia so your post about your RA really struck a chord. I hope you’ll join some of the parties that I host on my blog (Inspire Me Monday, Wordless Wednesday, Friendship Friday). You’ll meet some great bloggers including several who are also dealing with chronic health issues!

Have a wonderful weekend and I lookf forward to getting to know you! 🙂
