Blog Link Party Directory
This blog link party directory will show you the benefits of link parties, and tell you the best parties to participate in each week. Get more free blogging tips and tricks here.
Blog link parties have been a great source of traffic and the #1 way I build a sense of community on my blog. I started hosting my Small Victories Sunday Linkup by myself years ago and I’m proud to say it grew to include 11 co-hosts and 200+ participant posts each week.
Note: This post contains affiliate links as indicated by an asterisk. Purchases from these links provides a small commission to me at no extra cost to you.
Sadly, I ended the linkup so I could focus on taking my blog to the next level. In the meantime, I wanted to share the blog link parties I love and a link party directory so you can grow your community and add your favorite parties too.
Are Link Parties Worth the Time?
It is a question many bloggers wrestle with. Many link parties have requirements that bloggers visit others in the linkup. It takes a small investment of time but yes, it is worth it to me. Here’s why:
- Earning a featured spot on a link party often gets you a link back to your post. This helps build authority to Google that your post is quality content.
- Party hosts often share participant posts on their social media or pin your images. This helps your post get independent validation that it’s something worth reading.
- SEO brings pageviews but average visitors do not leave comments or share content. Linkup party hosts and other participants are more likely to leave comments since they know how valuable it is to you.
- Social media brings pageviews but with changing algorithms, how many people actually see your post? When a link is on a linkup, it will be there.
- Link parties allow bloggers to grow their network and find bloggers with similar interests
- Link parties can open up opportunities for collaboration (many of my current tribe members are former Small Victories Sunday linkup participants and they’ve been awesome!)
- Link parties foster a sense of community, you can get to know other bloggers on a more personal level by visiting them each week
- Link parties can lower bounce rates, readers click on the posts that interest them so they are more likely to spend more time on your site reading the full post.

Link Party Directory
As you can see, I love connecting with other bloggers in link parties. Parties that I participate in have an asterisk. If you host a party that I need to add to my link party directory, feel free to let me know in the comments and I’ll add it to the list
I have sorted parties by day, month and added a few other link party directories and a few other link party lists that helped me compile my list. Let’s grow our blogs together!

Thank you so much for this list! I love using it! 🙂
I have a link up and if you have the time could you add it to your list? It’s called ‘ My Weekly Bible Journaling’ and it is hosted by Paulette’s Papers (http://paulettespapers.com/). It opens on Sunday morning and it is for Bible Journalers and Christian Crafters.
Thank you for all you do!
A great resource!! I would love to have you join us at Sharing Saturday (a kid-oriented activity, craft or parenting/teacher post) and Crafty Weekends (all things craft related–reviews, patterns or just great crafts every Sunday night).
Thanks so much for including the Merry Monday on your list. I totally agree that link parties are worth it. That’s how I met a lot of other bloggers when I just started blogging.
Hi Erlene, you’re welcome. I love Lin parties, I’ve fallen off the wagon a bit since I stopped hosting my own to focus on finishing Elite Blog Academy but I’ll be back.
Thank you for this resource. I have added it as a shortcut on my desktop. Much appreciated.
I am a newer blogger, and I am busy making connections and online friends through link parties. Besides all of that its alot of fun to see what the trends are, the new ideas, the creativity and energy.
You’re very welcome Leanna. Linkups are great ways to network, especially for new bloggers! I hope you will join us for Pretty Pintastic and Small Victories Sunday Linkup, both going on now!
Thank you so much for this great resource! I love to browse link parties for inspiration and posts that I might not have seen otherwise. It seems like a lot of good stuff gets buried in Pinterest and Facebook, and link parties are the best way to find new content and ideas.
I love this list! It is so helpful to find a bunch of resources in one place 🙂 I’ve also added the link up party I co-host, Family Joy Blog Link Up at Love Inspired Details.
Oh and i’m looking forward to using t your organizing method. Right now, it’s regular old pen and paper. It is a lot to visit x amount of blogs per each link party but worth it. I’ve actually find I end of encounter many of the same bloggers at each of the link parties. Gives me a laugh and I wonder if they notice the same thing 🙂
I do enjoy Linkups – you know I always participate in Small Victories Sunday! BUT – I;m sure you have also noticed I am always at least a week behind on visiting blogs from the linkup!
So, that’s my main problem & my question to you – how on earth do you keep up with so many linkups & so many visiting obligations? Where do you find the time? I’m really struggling with the time crunch lately.
Great list, though – I wish I had time to participate in all of them!
Sue
Book By Book
Oh I wish I could participate in all of them too but like you, I make sure to visit the ones I host before I do the next week’s post and I only Linkup to others when I can visit other participants too. Otherwise I don’t link up. I wish i had time to Linkup to all of them each week, i would love to hire one of my kids to do that for me like a VA but they don’t have the time either! I appreciate your diligence in making sure you visit others, it’s what makes this a party and fun to meet new bloggers!
This is such a valuable resource! Thank you so much for sharing this! ?
You’re welcome Tracy, happy partying!
Tanya, THANK YOU!!!! This is incredibly helpful — just like your blog planner has been! I am definitely bookmarking this page and referring back regularly. You have listed several parties I’ve never visited. It takes a lot of time to do link parties the right way, and I am still struggling to find the right balance, but it is worth the effort!
New to the blogging world. This will def make it easier to connect! Added my most recent blog to your Small victories Sunday Link up!
This is perfect, thanks for sharing! I’m always looking for a good list of link ups, but I haven’t seen one in a while. Also I’m excited to try your blog planner! I’ve saved this post for when I’m on my computer.
Thanks Angela and glad you found my blog planner helpful!
Thanks for putting together this great list! I try to participate in a few link parties, but it’s hard to make time for it.
I am soooo happy you shared this. I just started last week as a co-host for Family Fun Friday with Monica from happyandblessedhome.com and Herchel from Gymcraftlaundry.com so I’m happy to share about my new party. I was so happy to see the nice boost in traffic last week. Can’t wait for the next one!
I like link parties, but my iPad has stopped working on certain sites when it comes to linking up. I don’t know why, but I’m never on a computer for blogging, always my iPad. So I haven’t done any link ups except Bout of Books, which worked for some reason.
It can get so confusing trying to figure out which type of link party takes place when – so thanks for the awesome overview! 🙂
Thanks so much for this comprehensive list of link parties! As a new blogger I really enjoy participating in them to learn more about the industry and “meet” new bloggers. I’ve been participating in Small Victories Sunday for the past little while and it’s a great linkup – thank you for hosting it each week 🙂
This is a great list (thanks so much for including Share The Wealth Sunday)! I’d heard of some of these but there are many that are new to me. I’m also really excited to download your link party planner. I’ve wanted to make my own for months but can’t seem to find the time…now I don’t have to. Thanks for making my life a little easier xoxo
I have a horrible tendency to start really strong with linky parties then sort off drop off … the planet? But I try, I try! I’ll definitely be exploring your lists though … how can I not? 🙂 Thanks for this great feature, Tanya!
wow this is an amazing resource! Who knew there were so many link parties? I’ve saved this for future reference but tweeted it out too! Thanks!
I am relatively new to blogging and actually just started participating in linky parties and I love them. I love all your resources and I will be coming back and adding your wonderful list to my schedule. Thank you for compiling this list
Live this, thank you so much for sharing!!! Definitely pinning so I can come back to this again!
This is a wonderful resource and a good opportunity to read up on new bloggers and extending one’s blogging community! I added my linky! Thanks again for the post! Very helpful!
What a great resource! I love link parties. I have been participating in a knitting/reading link up since 2012, and I love it!
Thanks for this great list! I’ll have to check them out!
You know I havent participated in a blogger link party in a while! Maybe I need to participate!
This is such a wonderful resource! Thank you so much for spelling it out for newbies like me! I really appreciate the list of all the different link parties. I will for sure be trying this out! Pinned!
Thank you so much for the list and the organizer!! I love the sense of community that link parties bring.
You’re welcome Louise, glad they could help you. Which are your favorite parties, I’d like to add more to our directory. I love the community in link parties too. My linkup has seen ups and downs but I love the community we’ve created and I can’t give it up!
Link parties are great for SEO for the host. I don’t normally participate as I simply don’t have the time any longer but I used to years ago.
I didn’t know about the party being good SEO for the host, I never can keep up with SEO. Not sure how I can tell if it’s helped me. I have been focusing more on link parties this week as I’ve been getting frustrated with social media. There’s always so much to do with blogging, it’s a challenge to prioritize and balance everything. Thanks for stopping by!
I always seem to be missing these cool parties. High school flashback in 3, 2, 1…… Thank you for putting these all together for us!
Our Small Victories Sunday Linkup us open all week just for that reason, so people never feel left out. I was one who missed all the cool parties too. Have fun hopping around these parties!
Thanks so much for sharing this! I’ve never found the time for link parties but I know I should!
I hope you give them a try, some of my best blogging friends and opportunities came from networking at link parties!!
I have never hosted a linky party but they always look like so much fun. Love that you are creating a directory of linkys.
I hope you bring your style to my linky party, just add your posts and find others you like. You don’t have to host to enjoy it 🙂
This is fantastic! A great way to meet new bloggers and make friends, super for networking and connecting. I love in Europe so I am usually in bed when most of my readers do their linky parties, but once in a while when I can join, I have fun. I will be holding on to this list.
Well our Small Victories Sunday link party is open all week long until the next one opens so it’s never too late to link up with us. I hope you will. I try to make sure the latest posts get visits and shares too!
Whoa, this is such a comprehensive list! I love it! I’m always looking for fun new parties to join and this is the perfect list.
Thanks Kait, I love providing resources to help other bloggers grow. I would love to know what your favorite parties are!
This is a great list and starting point especially for newer blogegrs.
Thank you Vicky, I’m glad it helps you. I do hope you will link up with us at Small Victories Sunday Linkup if you haven’t already this week!
I love linky parties like this. I have met some of my best blogging friends through link parties like these 🙂
I’ve met many of my best blogging friends through link parties too. Which ones are your favorites? I’d love to add them to the list if I don’t have them already.
I like having the links in this manageable list. And then you provide even more in the list of lists, like Guiltless Reader’s. I have a cookbook review in mind to do, so I am glad to have the food themed link party info. Even if one diesn’t add a link, the link parties are fun to visit and explore–especially your Sunday Link up! 🙂
Thank you Lucy, glad you found Weekend Cooking, a great place for a cookbook review. I’ve been meaning to do cookbook reviews for ages! I’m glad you are such a faithful supporter of Small Victories Sunday Linkup.
