What is a Passion Planner?

Passion Planner is a company that produces a line of weekly and daily planners called “Passion Planner”. They offer a free pdf, printed planners, digital planners and various coordinating planner accessories. The Passion Planner focuses on helping pursue your biggest passions in life and keeping your mind open to infinite possibilities.

I first used a large weekly Passion Planners in 2017 and it was the first planner in a long time that I stuck in all year long. Because of all the space in the large planner I had plus 40 notes pages in the back, I found it to be the perfect planner for “lazy” bullet journalers (or hybrid bullet journalers) like me.

I didn’t want to have to draw out all the monthly and weekly layouts, but I loved having ample space for my trackers, epic lists and  bullet journal collections. I definitely think that color coding and tracking my time helped me boost my productivity.

But if you are not convinced that the Passion Planner is quite right for you, I’m here to provide you some Passion Planner alternatives.

Passion Planner Alternative

Here are the 5 features that make the Passion Planner unique so these are the features we’ll be looking for in the planners that are similar to Passion Planner:

  1. passion roadmap and gamechanger – space to identify and map long term and short term goals and break your “gamechanger” down into pieces
  2. personal and work to do list to promote work life balance
  3. weekly or daily hourly layout so you can block or track your time
  4. monthly reflection pages
  5. lots of notes pages for lists and trackers (the weekly has 20 dot grid pages and 20 blank pages in the back, the Passion Planner daily has a page per day for notes and 14 additional notes pages in the back)
  • bonus! Passion Planner gives back and donates proceeds from selected covers to charitable organizations. I’ll pinpoint other generous and socially responsible planner companies also.

It makes the list because the Wonderland222 pages are flexible so you can customize it to be like a Passion Planner or like the Passion Planner, is an excellent planner for “lazy” bullet journalers or hybrid bullet journalers.

The Wonderland 222 Weekly Planner has plenty of trackers and notes pages in the back for more collections or daily lists for hybrid bullet journalers. Wonderland 222’s paper is 52 GSM Tomoe River grid paper so it’s a dream to write on (even with fountain pens) or watercolor on but super thin to make it lightweight and easy to carry. You do have to be careful with inkier gel pens, fountain pens or watercolor and allow for drying time to prevent smudging. But some of the art I’ve seen in their Facebook group on these pages is amazing so the paper can handle it.
