Recipe Review: Crockin’ Girls Barbecue Chicken Sliders

Originally posted February 14, 2011…Four ingredients is all it takes to make tender, tangy barbecue chicken sliders, recipe from The Crockin’ Girls website. This was great to make when family came over and everyone seemed to enjoy it, definitely going in our Family Favorites Cookbook! I doubled the recipe since we had company and it made a lot of extra sauce, so I froze the leftover sauce knowing I will find a use for it soon. This made dinner for 4 adults, 6 kids and several servings for leftovers.

Mom's Small Victories picture from when I made the Crockin' Girls recipe..delish!

Family Yumminess Rating: 4 of 5 stars
RA Ease of Prep Rating: 5 of 5 stars

With rheumatoid arthritis (RA), my hands can’t handle a lot of chopping so this was a very RA friendly and kid friendly meal with minimal prep time and maximum deliciousness! Another small victory meal for me! Enjoy!

Ingredients
3 large boneless chicken breasts
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 bottle barbecue sauce (Sweet Baby Ray’s)
24 dinner rolls, halved

Preparation
Coat slow cooker with cooking spray. Combine soup and barbecue sauce in a mixing bowl. Put chicken breast in slow cooker and cover entirely with sauce mixture. Cook on low 6 to 8 hours. Serve on top of dinner roll and top with broccoli slaw (I just used the recipe on the package for the dressing).
I also served Slow Cooker Ranch Beans on the side, another slow cooker family favorite! Thanks Crockin’ Girls!
