My Small Victories
What were your small victories this week, the little or big wins that made you feel successful, accomplished or just plain fantastic? I’ve been trying to make the most of my mornings by reading when I first wake up, walking while listening to an audio book or reading while riding my stationery bike. I did pretty well sneaking more reading time into my day this week and I’ve loved it. Normally, I read the productivity books in the morning and the fiction at night. Here’s a glimpse at my October TBR, what are you reading this month?
Books I plan to read in October are a mix of personal productivity & Southern lit. On the Kindle: 1) The Things We Wish Were True by @marybethwhalen , 2) Life After Coffee by @virginiafranken , 3) echoes of Family by Barbara Claypole White and on papeback: 4) The Opposite of Everyone by Joshilyn Jackson, 5) You are a Badass by Jen Sincero and 6) Getting Things done by David Allen (a reread). I have my work cut out for me. What are you reading this month? As for the blog, I’m getting ready to tackle my holiday traffic. Last November and December, I was so hopeful after getting the highest traffic and income my blog had ever received. I loved the spike and hoped it’d continue through 2016. Sadly, it didn’t.
So now I know how important holiday traffic is to bloggers. I’m so glad that Blog Clarity came up with this FREE Cheat Sheet for Seasonal Keywords*and a Holiday Season Quick Start Guide update from her awesome Pinning Perfect Class*. I’ve started tackling both of these guides this week so my holiday traffic and income are more intentional and less accidental! Well that’s the recap of my week, what were your small victories? Do tell, no matter how big or small!
