My Small Victories
What were your small victories this week, the little or big wins that made you feel successful, accomplished or just plain fantastic?
On the home front, my littlest was home sick a few days so I got absolutely nothing done. He was fever free 24 hours just in time to go trick or treating. I wasn’t feeling too great either and got my Remicade infusion on Wednesday so this week was just about resting and recovering really which is ok by me. There was less running around and more cuddling and sleeping. Littlest actually slept 14 hours one night, I don’t think my little energy ball has ever done that!
On the blogging front, I was busy promoting the Genius Blogger’s Toolkit. I bought it and thought it was a great deal so signed up to be an affiliate. For my first affiliate campaign, I exceeded my goal for sales and income and learned a few valuable lessons. It’s a wonderful feeling to share something I think will truly help other bloggers and be able to recover some of the cost of running this blog and wanting to take it further than a hobby.
I also learned that Elite Blog Academy 3.0 is on the horizon to be released in February with all kinds of wonderful new lessons. It gave me the motivation I need to finish Elite Blog Academy 2.0 before the new course comes out, so I will be busting my blogging tail to get it done. When you purchase EBA, you get lifetime access to the course and automatically get all the updated courses, pretty epic. If you’re interested in making money from your blog, I can’t recommend EBA enough. You can sign up for the Elite Blog Academy mailing list now* so you know when enrollment opens and snag her free ebook 7 Surefire Ways to Boost Your Blog Income Overnight. We could all use a boost in blog income for the holidays, right?
I can’t believe it’s the end of another month already. I have been toying with the idea of doing a blog traffic and income report. Would you be interested in that? I’m still a small blog and I feel pretty strongly about not earning income from ad networks. I know I love reading traffic & income report and seeing what revenue streams work for other bloggers.
Let me know if you’re interested and I may start writing it up. I love encouraging others to celebrate their lives and I feel blogging is an amazing way for us to work from home and achieve a work-life balance doing something we love. I love sharing what I’ve learned about blogging and fostering a collaborative community where we can learn from each other and help each other achieve our dream lives. So tell me what you’d like to know about blogging!
Well that’s the recap of my week and things I’m excited about, what were your small victories? Do tell, no matter how big or small!

Great party!! Visited a few blog posts (some great stuff!), even found a couple of interesting ads – Thanks for hosting!
I’d really appreciate reading your report, Tanya.
I was very close to join EBA, but I wonder if it’s for me since I’m more focused in coaching than only blogging.
Thank you so much for hosting it.
Well I think that the blogging and writing you do drives people to your coaching business so they go hand in hand. I’d recommend signing up for the mailing list for now to see if their advice helps you. The great thing about EBA is it comes with a money back guarantee. If you complete all the assignments and you aren’t happy with your results, you can get your money back. Ruth has also said that EBA 3.0 releasing in Feb. will be focusing more on running a successful business, not just a blog. Its worth checking out and keeping in mind.
Thanks for hosting & God bless!
Aw, sorry your son was sick this week, but it sounds like good timing since you needed to rest, too. Glad he was up and about in time for Halloween!
Christmas decorations??? What happened to Thanksgiving. Drives me crazy when people rush the holiday seasons. I like to enjoy each one in its own time…which is why we took down the Halloween decorations yesterday and put up the Thanksgiving ones! 🙂
Thanks for hosting – hope you have a good week ahead!
Sue
Book By Book
Lol, yea we usually decorate for Christmas in the day after thanksgiving, its my tradition. I was doing good decorating for Hallween a coupe hours before trick or treating and I don’t normally do anything for Thanksgiving except set the table and put out anything kids brought home.I’m a slack decorator 🙂 . I loved seeing all your Halloween decor.
Well, 90% of our decorations (Halloween, Thanksgiving, etc.) are old art projects the kids made – keeping in mind they are now 18 and 22! ha ha So, I wouldn’t say I;m a professional decorator 😉 But I am an enthusiastic one. My mom celebrated every occasion big and small when I was young, and I carried on those traditions. It became especially important to all of us when the 3 of us got so sick – celebrating all the smaller holidays lifted our spirits! Hope you were feeling better this week.
Sue
Tanya I am so far behind on EBA 2.0 and I’ve been sick this week too but it’s been relaxing to rest – think I got it from a grandson and that’s okay because he needed cuddling.
I decorated for Fall in September and I love those decorations so much. I don’t decorate for Christmas until we are done with our Thanksgiving family time. I love it all.
Aw, sorry you got sick. I’m glad I’m not the only one who is so far behind, I’m determined to get it done though. We decorate for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving and I don’t really do much decorating for Thanksgiving. Thanks for stopping by and supporting our linkup Debbie. Good luck knocking out EBA!
Thank you, Tanya for this week’s party! 😉 I’m glad to be here and share with all the other great bloggers! So many inspirations every time!
I wish you a wonderful weekend!
– Emmi
Thank you for hosting this lovely party! -Marci @ Stone Cottage Adventures

Thank Tanya and friends for hosting Small Victories Sunday 127, a pleasure to visit and join in.
Joy
Oh thank you Joy, it’s a pleasure to host such a wonderful community of bloggers! What did you share with us this week?
Thanks for your encouragement to keep writing.
Aw you’re welcome Michele, it’s my pleasure. I never knew how much I loved to write until I started blogging and now it’s part of me.
HI Tanya!! I TOTALLY think you should do income reports! I get why you ask… I feel weird putting them out there too. And I don’t know if I will do them for the long term. But the truth is, I have learned SO MUCH from reading other blogs income reports and I find them so encouraging and EBA is amazing… and you already have such a great platform with this link up that you’d be missing out NOT doing them. Plus bloggers will probably appreciate the chance to learn about EBA before it goes away again for a year. Looking forward to when you publish one 🙂
Thanks for the encouragement Carly. I really love reading them and know I’m smaller potatoes than most that I read. But like you said, this community we have here is so important to me. Now I’m wondering if I should make it a blog post or a special monthly newsletter. I suppose I could do both. I do like to blog about blogging so it still fits in my blog mission. Thanks for the encouragement.I guess I should get cracking since October just ended and it was a good income month!
I’d love to read your income reports! I’m always encouraged reading them from “smaller” bloggers because it feels more relatable.
Thanks Angela. I know what you mean, I am inspired by the big bloggers for my someday maybe goals. But it’s a long road to get there and I know more bloggers are in my boat too. I want to show what I’m doing, what’s working, what’s not and how I’m getting there. I know I love to read them myself so thought I’d ask. Thanks for your input.
