Welcome to our Small Victories Sunday Linky!
We took an extended summer break from the Small Victories Sunday linky but I’m glad to say it’s back! This linkup is for posts that are positive or helpful in nature: books, recipes, DIY, blogging tips, home & health posts are all welcome. I think Sunday is the perfect day to reflect on the week that passed and look forward to the week ahead. Please join me by linking up to 3 of your favorite posts!

My Weekly Recap:
READING:
I’m reading Waiting for Snow in Havana by Carlos Eire for our Travel the World in Books Reading Challenge Book Club/Readalong selection for Nonfiction November. It’s not too late to join us. We’ll be posting discussion questions and having a Twitter chat on November 24th. It’s a National Book Award winner and true story about the author being torn away from Cuba and his parents as a child because of the Cuban Revolution.
I won a copy of The Last Breath during the #southernlit chat hosted by @deepsouthmag and @rockstar1023. I was pretty excited to win it especially after the author, Kimberly Belle, told us about how growing up in the Tennessee mountains impacted her writing of this book in Be Our Guest Fridays {3}. Be sure to join Deep South Magazine’s Twitter chat every Friday at 2pm EST for a chance to win some #southernlit!

Linking this post up with these other fabulous linkies too:
This is a great idea. Just wanted you to know that I tried adding your badge to my sidebar but it does not show up. I think something is wrong with the coding.
I think I got the coding fixed. Oy, I’m so not a coder! Thanks for letting me know and joining our linkup! Hope you found some other great posts to read and spread the word.
I was excited when I seen you pop in my inbox. Glad this link up is back. Thanks for hosting !

Hey, Tanya! Glad to hear that your linkup is back! Always a lovely way to end a week—and start a new one. Hope that all is well with you! 🙂 -Dawn
Thanks so much for joining us after our hiatus. I loved your post about teaching our boys to be a feminist. I was having trouble commenting from my phone on your blog but it’s true that society pinkifies everything related to girls. While I love that they are trying to attract girls to the sciences, not sure that’s the way to do it. Hope you join us again next week!
I was SO excited to see Small Victories in my email! This has always been one of my favorite link ups and I am so happy to see you back!
Thanks so much Jen for returning and sharing about the linkup! I missed hosting it for the summer and ready to see what you all have in store for me. Great tips on tsu, I signed up but haven’t learned about it yet. Pinned to our Small Victories Sunday linky board
