Featured Bloggers
Each week we will select bloggers to feature, our most popular and favorite posts to share with you. This week our Featured Blogger is Jen from My Nanna’s Wisdom who shared How I Organize My Blogging Goals. She tells us how to know what you want and how to get it. Blogging is hard work and being organized and focused is key. I look forward to the new linkup she wants to start this year. What are your blogging goals? If you need help getting organized be sure to check out my free 2015 blog planner available for use on Google Drive, Excel or download.
Some of my favorite posts from last week were:
A Life in Balance shared Squeezing Time to Craft into Your Busy Life, specifically how she makes scrapbooking and keeping up with pictures more manageable. I WANT to do this so badly! I love taking pictures and I have so many to get into albums and journaled.
Carissa Shaw from All in All shared her 10 best posts of 2014, including her Buffalo Chicken Lasagna recipe that went viral and had 500,000 views! I pinned many of the recipes, including her bakery style white cake with buttercream frosting.
Rachel from Fit Triangle Mom shared a giveaway for a sweet Origami Owl charm bracelet and reminds us that we should strive for Progress not Perfection. I have been wanting a charm bracelet like this and now is our chance to win.
Congrats ladies and feel free to display our featured blogger button on your sidebar or page.
My Weekly Recap:
READING:
If you’re a weekly visitor you probably already know what I’m reading. The Poisonwood Bible is our January readalong selection for our Travel the World in Books Reading Challenge. For week 1, we are discussing Books 1 and 2 and it’s quite a discussion as we meet the Price family and are forming opinions on their circumstances. Stop by if you’ve read it and let us know your thoughts. We are also discussing in our Travel the World in Books Reading Challenge group on Goodreads, if you’d like to join the discussion there!
Week 2’s discussion on Book 3 will be posted on Wednesday. It’s getting so good and I look forward to discussing with you.
I didn’t get any new books this week but I did finally get The Game of Thrones from the library for Superhubby. Let’s see if it keeps his attention and turns him into a reader. 🙂

I have a non-reader husband as well! He only reads sports and business books – and only a few per year….horrifying, right?!
LOL, yes. Did you see The Book Wheel’s post on 5 perks of marrying a non-reader? I guess we should consider ourselves lucky 🙂

You’re welcome as always Robin.

You’re welcome Rachel. I think it’s important to be reminded to strive for progress rather than perfection. I look forward to the book reviews you have up your sleeve.
