Featured Bloggers
Each week my co-hosts and I will feature our favorite bloggers from the previous week’s linkup. Visit each of my co-hosts to see who they’ve featured too! This week’s Reader’s Choice for most viewed post is Jen from Nanna’s Widsom who shared another helpful blogging tip this week, Do You Check Your Analytics too Often? I check mine through Jetpack on my WordPress app probably once a day and then Google Analytics in more detail once a month. How often do you check your stats and what programs do you use? Thanks and congrats AGAIN Jen!
Some of my favorite posts were:
Macaroni and Mascara who shared Clean Chai Tea Latte, a make at home recipe for my favorite Starbucks drink.
And because I can’t resist a good coffee cake with my tea or coffee Brand New Mom Blog’s Starbucks Copy Cat Coffee Cake recipe.
If you haven’t guessed I love food-related posts, so I have to add to my to-watch list Book by Book’s recommendation of the movie Chef. Most of my free time is taken up with reading, but I’m a sucker for a movie about food!
My Weekly Recap
Reading:
I’m reading Shadow of the Wind for our Travel the World in Books Readalong. I love this book, the writing is gorgeous and suspenseful. We have our first discussion over the first half of the book this week on the blog and on Goodreads, so be sure to join us for the discussion if you’ve read it!
Normally I don’t read two books at once but I also started An Uncomplicated Life: A Father’s Memoir of his Exceptional Daughter by Paul Daugherty. This is going to be a tear-jerker about how these parents raised their daughter born with Down Syndrome to “Expect…Not Accept.” I look forward to finishing it and bringing you the review on Tuesday!
Blogging:
I didn’t do a whole lot of blogging last week (I was obsessed with starting our garden and spending time outside). I brought you the linkup and my guest Tia talking about how she and her partner make their lives works when both of them have chronic illnesses.

Home:
Our square foot garden has been planted! Thanks to my Superhubby and his dad, the box is built and we planted 5 of the 16 veggies, fruits and herbs already. Check out the pictures on my blog Facebook page and see what we’ve planted so far.
Our passports arrived, we are ready to take on the world. Now to plan a vacation!
I was in a cleaning frenzy and tackled cleaning underneath the gas stovetop where the burners are. So gross but at least now they’re clean!
We had a Kindergarten tour, a birthday and high school orientation all in one day! Luckily, I survived without my heart completely exploding that my kids are getting way too big, way too fast!
Exercising:
Yay! I can finally say I did a little exercising. Took 3 walks outside with kiddos and hauling compost, soil and plants will count for my productive exercising for a couple days too.
