Featured Bloggers
Each week my co-hosts and I will feature our favorite bloggers from the previous week’s linkup. Visit each of my co-hosts to see who they’ve featured too!
The Reader’s Choice this week was Couponin Diva who shared How I Make Money as a SAHM. I have heard so many bloggers rave about this simple method to make a little extra money and I have yet to fully utilize it! Silly me, it helped Couponin Diva pay for her Amazon Prime membership and Christmas presents, I really need to get on it.
Some of my favorite posts this week were:
Intelligent Domestications who shared All Things Cherry – 70 Recipes, Crafts and More. I didn’t know about the Cherry Blossom Festival in Macon, GA and boy does this roundup of my favorite summer fruit have my mouth watering.
Fiber Artsy who shared Yarn Wrapped Easter Eggs. An easy Easter activity would make a lovely centerpiece for our Easter table.
The Book Wheel who shared March Madness – 16 Sweet Books about Basketball. Our UNC Tar Heels lost Thursday but these book ideas sure made me miss going to the games and watching the Heels win their National Championships on TV. Better luck next year Heels!
My Weekly Recap
Reading:
I’m reading Shadow of the Wind for our Travel the World in Books Readalong. I love this book, the writing is gorgeous and suspenseful. Our first discussion for chapters 1-28 was posted last week so be sure to join us for the discussion if you’ve read it!
I’m almost done with Swimming through Clouds by Rajdeep Paulus, a YA story about Talia, a mixed Indian-South African girl who is being abused by her tyrannical father and the boy who tries to get close to her. The abuse is hard to read and thank goodness for the love interest to break up the terror that Talia goes through. I really want this book to end well, it’s kept my interest so far.
Blogging:
In case you missed it, here’s what I blogged about. Not much going on this week as I thoroughly enjoyed myself on Spring Break!
