Featured Bloggers
Each week my co-hosts and I will feature our favorite bloggers from the previous week’s linkup. Visit each of my co-hosts to see who they’ve featured too!
For the second week in a row, Fit Triangle Mom earned the Reader’s Choice Featured Blogger spot for her post, Healthy Snacking with Protein Balls. A healthy and delicious alternative when you need something sweet. Congrats Rachel again and keep linking up your great posts!
Some of my favorite posts this week were:
View from In Here shared her Pinterest recipe review of No Bake Snickers Cheesecake Parfaits. Snickers is my favorite chocolate bar and I love that she took something off Pinterest and tells us as it really is. From what she said, I REALLY need to try these out! What recipes that your family loves have you found off Pinterest?
Sunshine and Elephants who shared her Spring Bucket List. I love making lists as you can tell: to-do lists in my planner, bucket lists, books to read and goals. I love that this blogger is ready to embrace health and sunshine in gorgeous Charleston, SC. What’s on your Spring Bucket List?
My Weekly Recap
Reading:
I’m finishing up Mademoiselle Chanel and Shadow of the Wind but haven’t quite finished either yet! I normally don’t have 2 paper books going at once but only a few pages left in Mademoiselle Chanel.
On the kindle, I picked Hello from the Gillespies back up again. It’s a family drama and it says I still have 4 and a half hours left in the book even though I am halfway through. I don’t know that I will finish, it’s too slow moving for me right now.
Blogging:
In case you missed it, here’s what I blogged about. Not much going on this week as the little kids were at their grandparents’ house so I worked on taxes and getting ready for a kids clothing/toys sale. I was so happy though with Books in the Burbs guest post with loving yourself and letting go of toxic people. A really important conversation to have and examine those relationships in your life that might cause you stress.

Home/Exercising:
We had a fabulous Easter with my husband’s side of the family. With all the fun, it made me realize how lucky we are. With some families we know dealing with health tragedies for themselves and their children and Sheila from Book Journey losing her 24-year old son, I was overcome with grief for them. It has been a week full of silent prayers for these families and every time I look at my kids, I’m thankful for them and their health.
I played tennis with my oldest for the first time in probably a year…more like three. We just hit the ball back and forth for as long as my feet could take it. But we both had a blast and neither of us wanted to go home. For my teen to tell me he had fun with me was priceless.
Taxes are DONE!
