Featured Bloggers
Each week my co-hosts and I will feature our favorite bloggers from the previous week’s linkup. Visit each of my co-hosts to see who they’ve featured too!
This week’s Reader’s Choice for most viewed post was my co-host Gail from Frugal Coupon Crazy who shared Do You have the Courage to be a Blogger? Many people don’t realize how much work blogging is or that it is a worthwhile endeavor. Gail shows us that it takes courage to be a blogger. So bloggers, keep calm and blog on!
Some of my favorite posts were:
Nanna’s Wisdom who shared 12 Free Resources You Need for Your Blog. I am going to be using that headline analyzer to improve my blog post titles. What must-have free resources do you use for your blog?
Coming Up Roses who shared How to Achieve the Ultimate Blog-Life Balance. This is a battle for those of us who love blogging and/or are blogging for a career. This is a great roundup of ideas to balance blog and personal life and squeezing in time for yourself. How do you balance your blog and personal life?
Frugal Foodie Mama who shared Mexican Fried Ice Cream Blondies. These look perfect for Cinco de Mayo this week, dripping with chocolate and a hint of cinnamon. How will you be celebrating Cinco de Mayo this week?
Melly Moments who shared a Storybook Themed Baby Shower. Some of my favorite kids’ books are the backdrop and inspiration for this baby shower, it reminds me of my youngest son’s Where the Wild Things Are nursery and he is the KING of all wild things! What are your favorite kids’ books or creative baby showers you’ve attended?
A special thanks to Brandi from Being Fibro Mom who helped us comment and pin our record breaking 230 participants last week. What a fantastic week! Be sure to visit at least 2 other posts for every link you leave so we can support each other!
My Weekly Recap
Reading:
I finished my 12th book of the year, Worth It! Shatter Your Excuses and Free Yourself to Shine. Author Heidi Kleine shares her “aha moment” and what motivates her to lose 100 pounds and get healthy. An easy to read, inspiring read that is free on Kindle from May 2-May 4, 2015.
I started Diamond Head by Cecily Wong for a TLC Book Tour, the cover is stunning, the characters unusual and mysterious. The descriptions of Diamond Head, a Hawaiian volcano, have me wanting to jump on a plane and head to Hawaii.
I am enjoying Silkworm on the Kindle for my IRL book club. I love a good mystery and this one has some eccentric characters that I am still getting to know. I enjoy J.K. Rowling’s writing style and so far, so good with this one.
